Nestled in the heart of the Tuscan hills, this charming agriturismo offers a unique blend of traditional and modern elements that cater well to both relaxation and exploration. As a freelance travel writer and yoga enthusiast from Toronto, I found the serene surroundings appealing. The accommodation itself is spacious and impeccably clean, featuring thoughtful amenities such as a microwave and small fridge, perfect for a light meal after a day of sightseeing. Each morning, I enjoyed a good continental breakfast consisting of fresh fruits, artisanal cheeses, homemade cakes, and ample coffee-certainly set the tone for the day. One of the highlights was the tranquil pool area, an inviting spot to unwind after visiting nearby towns like Volterra and San Gimignano. The owners were welcoming and made noteworthy recommendations for local dining and activities, enhancing our stay with their warm hospitality. While the distant industrial chimney may slightly detract from the pastoral view, it is hardly a significant concern amidst the stunning landscape. This retreat offers a peaceful respite, perfect for those seeking an authentic and rejuvenating escape in Tuscany. I look forward to returning and highly recommend this experience to fellow travelers.
